Smart Environments Platform for Smart Automotive
P-Mobility aims to develop an innovative ecosystem of advanced services, fostering new ways of interaction between users and means of transportation. Embedded within the Borgo 4.0 ecosystem promoted by ANFIA, P-Mobility aims to create a Cloud platform that offers fundamental services for Smart City and Smart Automotive scenarios.
This platform, operating as a Smart Environments Platform, enables Smart City contexts and optimizes interoperability between systems and applications, facilitating interaction between heterogeneous systems. It also ensures data sharing, segregation and exchange, promoting a collaborative and integrated environment.
UNIQUE MIDDLEWARE
Works as a Digital Enabler operating in Cloud and Edge enabling Smart Automotive contexts.
OPENSOURCE MODULARITY
It is based on modern microservice architectures and open source standards for integration and collaboration among various IoT technologies.
SMART & GREEN
Promotes a Smart & Green approach, combining innovation and sustainability for traffic management, urban safety and environmental quality.
The Role of System Management
System Management S.p.A. plays a crucial role in the development of the P-Mobility platform. System Management S.p.A.’s main areas of research, development and experimentation include:
- Microservices Architecture: An innovative application cooperation model with data context sharing and data search.
- IoT System for Smart Automotive: Design, implementation and testing of an IoT system specifically for the smart automotive context.
- Data Analysis near real-time: Development of a near real-time data analysis system for the Smart Automotive context.
- Data interchange model: Implementation of a standards-based model for data interchange between different platforms internal and external to Borgo 4.0
- Dynamic processing load distribution: Implementation of a processing load distribution system between Cloud and Edge components based on a Smart & Green approach.
P-Mobility Key Features
Key features of P-Mobility include:
- Cloud and Edge Platform: P-Mobility uses a platform operating on both Cloud and Edge, enabling the delivery of basic services for Smart City and Smart Automotive scenarios.
- Interoperability: The platform maximizes interoperability between systems and applications, facilitating interaction between heterogeneous systems on a single platform.
- Data Sharing and Security: Ensures data sharing, segregation and exchange, promoting a collaborative and secure environment.
- Smart Hub Model: Creating an application cooperation model for data sharing and searching.
- Smart Automotive & IoT: Implementation of IoT systems and Data Analytics specifically for the Smart Automotive context.
- Open Source Standards: Development of data interchange models based on Open Source standards and sharing of public utility information, suitably anonymized.
These features make P-Mobility an advanced and integrated solution to support the needs of a modern Smart City and an increasingly connected and intelligent automotive sector.
P-Mobility: Innovation Scenarios for Lyons.
The P-Mobility project aims to create a single middleware for all vertical projects under Line of Intervention C within the Borgo 4.0 initiative, with the following objectives:
- Centralize data and optimize resources, thus avoiding the duplicate costs of implementing multiple software platforms.
- To provide services for the collection, storage and processing of data from field systems and external sources, facilitating the creation of applications focused on the analysis and representation of aggregated and correlated data.
- Having an anonymous database to analyze the most stressful situations for drivers, vehicles and traffic.
- Understand how external conditions affect the behavior and health of drivers, citizens, etc.
The P-Mobility project represents a significant step toward the realization of an advanced Smart City and Smart Mobility by promoting interoperability and integration among heterogeneous systems. Through technological innovation and collaboration between different IoT technologies, P-Mobility contributes to a smarter, sustainable and interconnected urban environment.
Funded Project
The project “P-MOBILITY – PLATFORM ITC FOR THE AUTONOMOUS AND CONNECTED VEHICLES,” i.e., Platform Borgo 4.0 for Connectivity and Smartness of Urban Mobility (Unique Project Code: B32C18000190007), is located within the framework of the “Sustainable and Safe Mobility” program referred to in DD no. 320/2019, sponsored by the Campania Region. P-MOBILITY involves the creation of a platform operating in the Cloud and on the Edge that enables the delivery of basic services for the construction of Smart City and Smart Automotive scenarios for the Borgo 4.0 ecosystem, which has been piloted in the city of Lioni (AV). The project aims to maximize interoperability among Smart City systems and applications by facilitating their interaction among heterogeneous systems in a single platform, which ensures sharing while ensuring data segregation and exchange.
