THE PROJECT.
The infrastructure
The CETRA Project has built an integrated infrastructure that performs:
(a) the collection of visitor data
(b) the analysis of data (Big Data).
(c) authoring system of production, calendaring and distribution to museum apparatuses of cultural content.
To access a demo on the entire implementation flow, it is necessary to contact the project coordinator(http://www.cetra-project.it/contatti/) and book a session (demo 1 and demo 2 are accessible with use of Chrome browser, no authentication needed while, due to COVID-19, we will only conduct webinar sessions regarding demo 3)
DEMONSTRATIVE
A. Demo 1/Databooz (Web Reporting Analytics)
Intro demo: CETRA conducted monitoring for each Hall/Area visited (quantity and durations of visits, correlations between museum entry times and visit durations; etc.) and through Data Science type modeling. It enables dynamic visualization of visitor utilization by offering detail-tabular or even mini-graphic information with point distributions relevant to the current selection.

B. Demo 2/Databooz (Zeppelin with Streaming Analytics).
intro demo: the demo exposes a Zeppelin notebook on the web, displaying data collected on both cumulative (batch) and ‘near-real time’ museum visit events with timeframes of set amplitude (e.g., every 5 minutes), produced by HADOOP-Spark Structured Streaming (Chrome recommended).
C. Demo 3/M.E.T.A. (demo only on demand delivered via webinar)
intro demo: CETRA created narrative paths centered on the following themes: Plastic of Pompeii, Villa of the Papyri, the Temple of Isis, the Mosaic Hall, and the Epigraphs. The demo consists of a live presentation of the authoring back-end for guidebook creation and management; museum apparatus; content scheduling.
For this demo, it is necessary to request webinar with email request to M.E.T.A.: info@gruppometa.it – subject: CETRA project demo request. You will be contacted by M.E.T.A. staff to schedule a demonstration session.
